The first half of 2006 broke records for online advertising we were advised by a report from the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).
Internet advertising revenues in the USA were $7.9 billion representing a 37% increase over the same period in 2005.
Spend accelerated through the period and in the second quarter revenues totaled $4.1 billion, representing a 36% increase over same period 2005, and a 5.5% increase over Q1 2006.
The CEO of IAB, stated that interactive Internet capabilities were becoming crucial in the marketing world as businesses look to maximize their opportunities.
