Building online customer relationships

Acquiring customers is only the first part of growing your business. Thought needs to be given to retaining those customers and building a dialog showing that you value their custom. In time this will lead to additional revenue opportunities.

 

You should develop targets for how much additional revenue you will gain over the lifetime of the customer and also develop plans to realise these subsequent sales.   Your business profitability will be greatly enhanced if you can secure additional low cost revenue streams from your existing customer base.

 

You will need to consider how you are going to demonstrate that you recognise and value your customers,  how will you communicate with them - did you collect their email details when you made your last sale to them.
