More extensive content sites

A content site extends the simple three to five page site concept to include a more comprehensive catalogue of your products and services.

Irregardless of the more detailed functionality the site must comply with the previously stated design and useability guidelines.  It should also be legally compliant and contain the basic facts relating to your business and how to contact you.

This larger site allows you to provide a more comprehensive outline of the services you offer.  There should also be email functionality embedded into the site to facilitate ongoing contact with the customer.  As an example you may wish to offer an email contact address and a monthly newsletter.

A searchable catalogue of your products and services and the relevant prices is an excellent way of publicising your product range and enabling the customer to find the service that meets their needs.  This is much better than sending thirty leaflets in one direct mail package.

You must however consider how the site will be maintained.  Prices will require regular update,  product ranges change.  You need to ensure that the content can be easily amended by you or one of your team without the need for extensive technical knowledge.

Do newsletters help your marketing??

Newsletters act as part of your keep in touch marketing strategy. They provide a vehicle for keeping in touch with your current customers or clients and providing them with additional value.
